Comic 007: Bane, Knight Bane
May 25, 2005
A cheap shot at Knightbane, I know. The idea of Knightbane and Iron Dragon
driving to the scene in a tiny VW Bug was too much for me to resist.
I've added an RSS News Feed to the site! Use the little blue RSS button on the main page, and you
can automagically know when a new comic is up! Cool huh?
It's interesting to look back even over the last seven comics, I can see how much my
photoshop technique has improved. So my time in photoshop hasn't gone down by that much,
but I'm doing more insteresting things in that time, like transparencies and gradiants and
whatnot. Let me tell you, rigging the glass to be a tinted transparency? Way too much fun.
I was noticing in recent comics that my gutter was too small. I think yesterday's comic was
really hurt by the small gutters, and also by the balloons extending over. I think I like the
size I'm using now, and we'll see how it goes over the next few weeks.

Six! Six Comics! Ah, ah, ah.
May 23, 2005
I seem to be avoiding actual super-heroics, in my super-hero comic, so I'm planning for this
new bit to address the shocking lack of action seen thus far. I think a giant monster made of
water will play to Sunburst and Iron Dragon nicely, and I'll be forced to draw some action
scenes, so it'll be exciting. Especially for me.
The computer console amuses me, it feels like original series Star Trek to me. And I'm
convinced the trapezoid green-screen computer console is an idea whose time will come.
Just you wait.
