Eleven! Prime number, prime comic.
June 22, 2005
Eleven comics! Didn't think I'd get this far, did you? I'm not I sure I did. I think I'm
finally starting to tire of counting them as well. I'll have to think up a new theme
for the headline.
I think I've found a faster way to color the comic. This time, coloring only took about three
and a half hours. If I use the magic wand selection tool to clean up the whitespace, then it
works nicely for selecting areas for coloring as well. I'm concerned about strange color
artifacts showing up, but this comic came out pretty cleanly.
That doesn't solve the problem of the colors I choose being rather lame, but I figure,
one problem at a time.
There's an interesting side effect of my chosen comic size in that it enforces a sort of discipline on my
writing.
I tend to wordiness, but the format of the strip simply doesn't allow me to indulge in that. If you
think this strip is wordy now, you should have seen what I had originally written. If a comic
is only words with no room for a picture, that's ok, right?
