Meanwhile... in the halls of Justice!

Some of you may have noticed a bit of a gap between the last
comic and this. It takes a sharp eye to catch these things, so
I thought I'd mention it in case it slipped by you.
Some strips are harder to get out than others, and this one was
a battle. And I'm feeling rather bruised, but it's finally out.
For those of you who may remember the old Hostess comics with
some degree of fondness, this
site has a bunch of them archived.
I picked up a copy of Will Eisner's Comics
and Sequential Art, which I recommend. One of the things
that struck me was how Eisner does a lot of things with panel
shapes and sizes and framing that I never really thought about.
He makes a nice complement to the Scott McCloud book, and it's
been very interesting to compare and contrast.
Is it just me or are the walls pretty purple? Hmmm.
